After many attempts to get the bike running smoothly, I have relented and sent itto the Kawasaki shop to have them look at the rough idle.

Weekend of April 9/10

Well, I took the clutch apart again and actually got the manual out. I repleaced the Clutch springs. It appears that there is a specific way that this thing goes back together, a secret code and once I got that figured out, viola, the clutch works and works really well. It is nice and tight. Well, you ask, how did he test the clutch??? We I had the thing running, enough to rides it up and down the street a couple of times. Still can not get the idle to smooth out. Messed with the timing the idle adjustment etc. It just won't smooth out. I may have to have someone look at it.

Got it running again/Installed new clutch cable

4-3-2011 Spent some time, and some starting fluid but got the POS running fairly well. Will require additional tuning. Installed the new plugs, seemed to help. Also installed new clutch cable. Still no forward movement?????????? I may be into this for a clutch..........

I also sealed up a spot where I thought the old tank was leaking with epoxy., Cleaned up the gas cap and took the seal from the replacement tank. I also removed the groovy decals from the fenders. All done while enjoying a CWND Bavarian.
